She sits in silence,
Looking into the midnight sky.
She looks down,
At her carved flesh,
And cries at the thought.
She hurts for that one moment of adrenaline
She sits in silence
Looking at her battle scars.
She thinks about the day she had.
She realizes it was just a day,
Tomorrow will be better.
She sits in silence,
With a broken heart.
That boy treated her like so much trash.
She realizes he’s not good enough for her.
She throws her diary, her blade, and her sadness away.
And wishes on that one silent star,
For a happier ending.
